The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys working in a busy general practice environment and values teamwork, efficiency, and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilites include but are not limited to:
- Perform physical examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in dogs and cats
- Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry procedures
- Interpret radiographs, laboratory results, and diagnostic imaging
- Educate clients on preventive care, treatment options, nutrition, and wellness plans
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
- Manage hospitalized and urgent care patients appropriately
- Follow hospital medical protocols and standards of care
- Participate in maintaining a positive and professional workplace culture

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree
- Active Florida veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to high-quality medicine and patient care
- Surgical and dental experience preferred
- Experience with Avimark or similar veterinary software is a plus
