Our Team:
The most important information about a veterinary practice is the culture. We are a no-drama workplace where everyone feels respected and appreciated. (It took years to get to this place.) We take care of each other and follow the informal rule that “Kindness Matters”. The owner believes that if she takes care of the team, they will take care of the clients and their pets. It’s true, so she does.
Epidemic in veterinary medicine is perfectionism. It is easy to have unrealistic expectations and demands of ourselves. We fight this by reminding each other “We are not a mistake free clinic.” We have grace for each other and ourselves.
For some of our team members, this is their first job in veterinary medicine. Others came from previous jobs wary and burnt out. No matter their background, all have a positive, encouraging place to work now. Our practice has zero tolerance for abusive or cruel clients. The team is protected by addressing unacceptable behavior right away and clients are asked to seek care elsewhere, if they cannot be polite.
